The Hakone Prince Hotel was refurbished in 2007. Dining choices located on the premises include Trianon, a formal French restaurant with panoramic views of Lake Ashi. Sakura prepares traditional Japanese fare, while Yamaboshi coffee house specializes in homemade cakes by day, and a selection of spirits by night. A total of 15 function rooms, the largest of which accommodates up to 384 people, accommodate a range of events. The hotel offers wellness amenities that include an open-air hot spring bath used to soothe weary muscles and ease stiffness. A seasonal outdoor pool overlooks the lake, while the hotel's Hakone Golf Course remains open throughout the year. Additional recreational pastimes include seasonal ice skating, the use of three tennis courts, an amusement center and a theater.
