This resort, which was refurbished in 2005, integrates the architectural concept of natural simplicity with the appeal of modern design. Dining is offered at the Black Coral and the Sands restaurants that prepare international and Sri Lankan cuisine. Health and vegetarian menus are available upon request. Starlit dinners are served on the beach, and a poolside bar offers refreshments. A multi-purpose function facility accommodates group events, and Internet access is available in the hotel's business center. A spa contains steam baths and plunge pools. This wellness haven offers numerous treatments that include aromatherapy, and Thai and Shiatsu massages. The Rama & Seetha room is equipped with a jetted tub, the site of relaxing flower baths which are enhanced with scented candles. Private bathrooms are equipped with bath tubs and separate rain showers. Select accommodations include DVD/CD players and coffeemakers.
